Located in the gated community of Great River Private on one of the highest mountaintops overlooking Montego Bay and the Caribbean Sea, the site consists of 18 acres. Twelve buildings, a helicopter pad, and a tennis court occupy five acres.

The paved entrance road is elegantly landscaped with stately Royal Palms. Black and gold wrought iron gates from Thailand mark the entrance to the property. Hand-carved teak doors from Bali lead to multiple interior areas in textures of Travertine marble, Brazilian granite, cedar, and teak. Colorful gardens are accented with ancient carved Balinese, Burmese, Thai, and Chinese statuary. Serene lily ponds and turquoise pools separate various living spaces within the compound. There is no road access to the densely wooded property above Silent Waters. Privacy is assured. Sophisticated electronic security and video monitors ensure that only invited parties may enter the compound.

The hub of the compound is the 900-square-foot Main Pavilion. 100 feet of sliding glass doors disappear into pocket walls to open the central Pavilion to a breathtaking panorama of the sea, sky, and mountains. The Pavilion opens to a marble terrace, infinity-edge swimming pool, and sunning area overlooking the Caribbean Sea and Montego Bay.

A few steps across the terrace are the breakfast gazebo, dining room, and open-air bar with television, DVD, and cushioned seating for 20. An 80' reflection pool wraps around the al fresco breakfast gazebo and dining pavilion. A garden path leads up the mountain to the very private owner's villa which accommodates two more guests.

Accommodations

Guest rooms consist of 5 individual detached villa suites, each under a separate roof, which accommodate a total of 18 guests. The Owner's Suite can also be rented which can accommodate an additional 2 adults. Each suite is equipped with HD Smart Internet TV and stereo.

Owner's Villa (Private Suite)

Surrounded on 3 sides by a lily pond, the Owner's Villa at Silent Waters is in itself, its own private retreat. Featuring a spacious Master Bedroom with king-size bed, en-suite bathroom, private pool, and separate living, dining, and kitchen areas.

Tryall Club Temporary Membership Dues

The Tryall Club is a private club where members may use most facilities at no charge except for the tennis shop, ball boys, bar & restaurant, spa, motorized watersports, nanny services, and golf. Complimentary amenities include the beach, non-motorized watersports, tennis, the fitness room, the Hummingbird Kids Club, Great House afternoon tea, the Manager's Cocktail Party, and various special events.

The Tryall Club requires all villa and condo guests to become members during their stay via a Temporary Membership Dues cost of US$160 (plus a 15% service charge) per week for each guest 16 years and over, or US$32 (plus a 15% service charge) per day per person for stays of less than 7 days. Children between the ages of 13 and 15 are at a discounted rate of 50% plus a 15% service charge. For children 12 years and younger, the Temporary Membership Dues are complimentary.

Please note: There may be occasions when some or all the facilities for the hotel may be closed for membership guest services due to a private hotel event. The Tryall Club reserves the right to change or alter its membership packages with no advance notice.

Grocery Option:

• If choosing the grocery option, plan to pay for groceries locally in cash.
• A typical grocery budget is about USD 105-125 per adult per day and for young children about USD 55-70 per child per day depending upon the type of menus selected.
• When choosing the grocery option, a pre-payment of USD 2,000 will also be required for pre-stocking of groceries for the first 1-1/2 days.

Beverage:

• For guests that chose either the Meal plan or the Grocery option, wine, liquor, soft drinks, and bottled water must be purchased from Silent Waters' liquor, wine, and beverage inventory. All beverages (and fresh fruit used at the bar) are charged separately and billed at the end of the stay.
